The “Creative Youth of Hanh Thong Ward” event provided a dynamic platform for young people to showcase and develop their innovative ideas, driving forward the spirit of creativity and scientific exploration among youth.

Sáng 14/5, tại Trường đại học Công nghiệp TP. HCM, UBND phường Hạnh Thông phối hợp cùng nhà trường tổ chức lễ khai mạc sự kiện “Tuổi trẻ Sáng tạo phường Hạnh Thông” năm 2026, hưởng ứng Ngày Khoa học, Công nghệ và Đổi mới sáng tạo Việt Nam 18/5.

The program welcomed key university leaders, representatives from local authorities and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, and ward officials.
Attendees included members of the ward committees, department leaders, public service units, local digital technology groups, and educators and students from schools in the region.
From early morning, the campus of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was filled with vibrant youthful energy, with many pupils and students participating, along with numerous innovative models, STEM and STEAM products, and practical technology ideas. The event space served as a connection point between the University, local authorities, and younger generations in fostering creativity and digital transformation.

The program also featured exchanges with exemplary individuals in scientific research and innovation activities. Projects such as the “Sunlight Community Roof” and the “AI-Integrated Smart Home” model developed by secondary school students impressed participants with their modern technological thinking and practical applications to daily life, even at such a young age.

Science at the event was no longer presented as dry lessons on paper, but through curiosity, the spirit of exploration, and the aspiration to create value for the community. This became the program's unique vitality, inspiring young people to think differently, innovate, and become more creative every day.

The collaboration between the People’s Committee of Hanh Thong Ward and the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in organizing the event also demonstrated the increasingly close connection between local authorities and educational institutions in building a learning, research, and innovation environment directly within the community.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Phạm Thị Thanh Nhàn emphasized:
“Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Day is not only an occasion to honor intellectuals and scientists, but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of innovation to younger generations. We hope that today’s practical activities will inspire passion for research, the courage to think and act boldly, and the aspiration to contribute among students in the ward.”
