Introduction
Pursuant to Decision No. 2410/QD-DHCN dated August 19, 2024 of the Rector of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City on the establishment of the Faculty of Law and Political Science. The Faculty of Law and Political Science has the functions and responsibilities of training and conducting scientific research in disciplines within the fields of Law and Political Science, as well as participating in political and ideological education and communication activities for students across the University.Training
Currently, the Faculty of Law and Political Science has four departments:- Department of Ho Chi Minh Thought and History of the Communist Party of Vietnam;
- Department of Marxism–Leninism;
- Department of Law and Legal Practice;
- Department of Economic and International Law.
Faculty Members
The Faculty has 54 lecturers, staff members, including 1 Associate Professor, 11 PhD holders, 15 doctoral candidates, 25 master's degree holders, and 3 bachelor's degree holders. Each year, the Faculty of Law and Political Science enrolls approximately 200 major students and is responsible for teaching political science courses for students across the University.
