General Introduction:
The Faculty of Business Administration is one of the largest faculties of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and is one of the key faculties within the economic disciplines.
The Faculty of Business Administration at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City originated from the Faculty of Economics, which was established in March 1999. In October 2015, the Faculty of Economics was separated into three faculties: the Faculty of Finance and Banking, the Faculty of Accounting, and the Faculty of Business Administration.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- The Faculty of Business Administration is responsible for teaching, training, and conducting scientific research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (Master's and Doctoral) in four majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.
- The Faculty trains human resources with undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration and Marketing to meet the development and integration needs of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the country in general.
- The Faculty of Business Administration educates managers capable of working in enterprises and organizations and adapting to a globally competitive environment.
Faculty and Staff:
Currently, the Faculty has 80 lecturers, including 2 Associate Professors, 28 PhD holders and doctoral candidates, and the remaining lecturers hold master's degrees, many of whom graduated from universities abroad..
The Faculty has four departments:

- Department of Operations Management – Head: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuc

Facilities:
The office of the Faculty of Business Administration located on the 3rd floor of Building D serves administrative management, academic activities, and student academic support.
Classrooms are fully equipped with teaching facilities such as computers, multimedia systems, projectors, audio systems, air conditioning, wireless networks, and other modern teaching tools. Lecture halls, classrooms, and practice rooms are equipped with modern teaching equipment following international integration trends.
Activities and Achievements:
Over more than 20 years of development, the Faculty of Business Administration has achieved many accomplishments in teaching and scientific research. The Faculty of Business Administration currently offers four majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing, with more than 6,000 students enrolled each year. Since its establishment, the Faculty has trained more than 30,000 students at different levels including vocational college, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs through full-time, articulation, part-time, and international joint training programs.
The Faculty also implements international training cooperation programs with partners from the United States, Taiwan, and South Korea, providing on-site study abroad programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration. Joint training programs are conducted with universities from the United States, Taiwan, Canada, and South Korea with the participation of foreign lecturers.
In 2019, marking an important milestone in training quality, the Business Administration program was successfully accredited according to AUN-QA standards. Continuing the path of quality assurance, the Faculty of Business Administration is moving toward accreditation of other programs, specifically the Marketing program and the Master's program according to FIBAA standards in 2023.
The Faculty of Business Administration also demonstrates social responsibility by collaborating with the University Youth Union to organize the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign and various charitable activities in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces such as the Mid-Autumn Charity Program and the Spring Volunteer Campaign. In addition to teaching activities, the Faculty annually organizes social responsibility initiatives such as mobilizing resources to build rural bridges, charity houses, roads, and lighting systems for remote communities in provinces such as Vinh Long and Ben Tre. In recent years, the Faculty has set annual targets for community and charitable activities and consistently achieved them.
Besides professional teaching duties, lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration actively participate in cultural and sports activities organized by the University Trade Union and have achieved many high awards in events such as the Staff Cultural Performance Festival, Sports Festival, and activities celebrating International Women's Day (March 8) and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).
In addition to teaching activities, lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration actively participate in domestic and international scientific conferences. These seminars and conferences involve enterprises, scientists, and experts from both Vietnam and abroad in fields such as Finance and Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Tourism, and Economics. Each year, the Faculty of Business Administration remains one of the leading units in scientific research at the University with hundreds of research outputs including national and international scientific publications (ISI/Scopus), research projects at various levels, and academic textbooks.
