Introduction
The Faculty of Electronics Technology was established in the early years of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The Faculty began with worker-level training in 1976, intermediate-level training in 1980, college-level training in 1999, undergraduate training in 2005, master's training in 2016, and doctoral training in 2022. Along with the development of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, the Faculty of Electronics Technology has become one of the prominent engineering and technology faculties of the University.
The Faculty of Electronics Technology currently manages four specialized departments and is responsible for training programs from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. At present, the Faculty offers one doctoral program in Electronic Engineering, one master's program in Electronic Engineering, and three undergraduate programs in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, and Applied IoT and Artificial Intelligence. Since 2016, the Faculty has developed and maintained quality assessment for all training programs according to national and international accreditation standards (AUN-QA). The Faculty received AUN-QA international accreditation for the undergraduate program in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology in 2018 and for the undergraduate program in Computer Engineering Technology in 2022. In addition, the master's program in Electronic Engineering was accredited according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training in 2022.
Currently, the Faculty of Electronics Technology has 57 members, including 55 lecturers (02 Professors, 02 Associate Professors, 20 PhD holders, 07 doctoral candidates, and 24 master's degree holders) and 04 supporting staff members. The Faculty has sufficient capacity to train more than 2,500 students across all disciplines and training levels offered by the Faculty. Alumni of the Faculty have made significant contributions to industry and society and are highly regarded by employers for their professionalism and working attitude.

The Faculty of Electronics Technology aims to become a key faculty and to be ranked among the top ten leading faculties in application-oriented universities in Vietnam in the field of electronics, comparable to advanced institutions in the region in terms of high-quality human resource training.

To provide high-quality human resources with strong ethical values, advanced professional knowledge, and practical professional skills in the field of electronics engineering technology; to strengthen scientific research and community service activities; and to focus on cooperation and technology transfer with industry partners.
