Functions
Advising and assisting the President in managing, synthesizing, proposing solutions, and organizing the implementation of the university’s overall administrative system, including management of all equipment systems of the University and the management of construction investment activities.
Equipment Management Functions:
- Manage the entire electrical system of the University.
- Manage the entire water supply and drainage system of the University.
- Manage all architectural structures and facilities of the University.
- Synthesize, report, and provide consultation on the status of equipment, machinery, and architectural facilities of the University.
- Coordinate with relevant units to plan, develop, and implement equipment investment projects of the University.
Administrative Management Functions:
- Advise and assist the President in managing the University’s infrastructure. The Administration Office is responsible to the President for these tasks.
- Manage the technical infrastructure of the University including land, buildings, classrooms, offices, auditoriums, laboratories, workshops, and internal transportation systems.
- Develop plans, supervise, and organize minor repair works to maintain functions and prevent deterioration of facilities under management.
Duties
Perform equipment and machinery management functions:
- Provide professional guidance and inspection for the management of equipment, machinery, materials, chemicals, and telephone systems for all units within the University.
- Organize and implement maintenance, repair, inventory inspection, and liquidation of equipment.
- Organize and implement installation and repair of telephone systems, internet networks, and office equipment across the University.
Perform electrical system management functions:
- Organize management, operation, maintenance, and replacement of the University's electrical system.
- Organize and implement installation, repair, and supply of electricity; install, monitor, and record electricity consumption meters for all units within the University.
Perform water supply management functions:
- Organize management and operation of the entire water supply and drainage system of the University.
- Organize installation, repair, and water supply; install, monitor, and record water consumption meters for all units within the University.
Perform synthesis, reporting, and consulting functions:
- Synthesize, collect statistics, report, and provide consultation on equipment, electricity, water, telephone systems, and office equipment across the University.
- Participate in asset management boards, councils, and working groups related to assigned management functions and perform other tasks assigned by the President.
Perform planning, construction, and investment project implementation functions:
- Develop short-term and long-term equipment investment plans for the University.
- Coordinate the organization of bidding processes for equipment procurement projects and scientific research projects.
Perform administrative management functions:
- Manage all infrastructure including land, fences, transportation systems, and drainage systems within the University campus to prevent encroachment and ensure the integrity of university property.
- Manage all buildings including offices, workshops, laboratories, classrooms, auditoriums, guest rooms, clubs, and sports facilities within the University campus.
- Manage, maintain, and repair the entire water supply and drainage system within the University.
- Develop plans for maintenance and repair of facilities to support training and scientific research activities.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to inspect and accept newly constructed, repaired, and renovated projects and put them into effective use.
- Coordinate planning for repair and procurement of furniture and interior equipment to ensure convenient facilities for staff and students.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to organize and implement storm, flood, and fire prevention activities for the University.
- Coordinate closely with the Construction and Project Management Board to ensure effective planning and management of construction projects.
- The Head (or Deputy Head) of the Administration Office serves as a standing member of councils related to construction works, disaster prevention, and fire prevention and fighting.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Rector.
