Introduction

The predecessor of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai Campus was the Central Training Facility. On September 30, 2015, the Minister of Education and Training signed Decision No. 4030/QĐ-BGD&ĐT on the establishment of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City Branch in Quang Ngai Province. The Quang Ngai Campus is located in the center of Quang Ngai City, within the key economic region of Central Vietnam (Thua Thien Hue – Da Nang – Quang Nam – Quang Ngai – Binh Dinh), which has an important strategic geographical position. The Quang Ngai Campus has become a reputable and high‑quality application‑oriented training institution in the Central and Central Highlands regions, continuously focusing on strengthening education and training, scientific research, technology transfer, innovation, entrepreneurship, enterprise collaboration, and community service.

Mission

The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai Campus provides high‑quality human resources with a solid knowledge foundation, professional working style, and strong discipline. Graduates are capable of adapting to the increasingly demanding labor market, integrating internationally, continuing professional development in the future, and actively participating in community service activities.

Staff and Personnel

The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai Campus has more than 70 staff members and employees. Each year, the University assigns and rotates many lecturers from Ho Chi Minh City to teach at the campus and vice versa. 100% of lecturers at the Quang Ngai Campus hold master's degrees, doctoral degrees, or are doctoral candidates. Many lecturers have participated in scientific research projects at the university, provincial, and ministerial levels. Over the years, the University has sent many lecturers for advanced studies both domestically and abroad, including France, South Korea, Belarus, China, and other countries. After returning, they continue working at the campus and serve as the core team for the development and improvement of training quality at the Quang Ngai Campus.

Facilities

The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai Campus provides a friendly and dynamic learning environment with modern and well‑equipped facilities, including 28 offices, 51 lecture rooms, 3 auditoriums, and 69 practice rooms, laboratories, and simulation rooms equipped with more than 200 computers and thousands of training tools and specialized practice equipment. These facilities effectively support both theoretical teaching and practical training for more than 2,000 students. The campus library covers an area of more than 2,300 m2; and provides a full range of textbooks, books, and reference materials for lecturers and learners to support teaching, learning, and research. In addition, the University's electronic library provides more than 15,000 full‑text documents and is regularly updated with new materials from faculties, institutes, and training programs.

In addition, the Quang Ngai Campus has a spacious and modern dormitory area with nearly 100 rooms and a dining facility for students, accommodating more than 1,000 students living and studying at the campus. Sports facilities such as volleyball courts, badminton courts, and table tennis tables are also available for students to participate in recreational and physical activities after class.

After more than 15 years of establishment and development, the Quang Ngai Campus has gradually stabilized, matured, and affirmed its position as a high‑quality, multi‑disciplinary, and multi‑field training institution, contributing to the supply of high‑quality human resources for Quang Ngai Province and the Central – Central Highlands region. With continuous investment and support from the University, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai Campus continues to develop comprehensively.
