Introduction
The Service Office was established in 2006 after being separated from the Administration Office of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
Functions and Responsibilities
The Service Office is responsible for supporting training activities, including managing parking services for lecturers, staff members, officials, trainees, and students throughout the University; managing sanitation services for classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and outdoor areas within the campus of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City; managing the fitness center, yoga training room, maintenance and repair of air-conditioning systems and elevators, and performing other tasks assigned by the President.Staff
The Service Office currently has 56 staff members distributed across four divisions: the sanitation division, the parking division, the fitness center division, and the air-conditioning and elevator maintenance division.
Operational Information
Sanitation Division: With a team of 25 staff members, the sanitation division manages more than 50,000 m2 of facilities, ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful environment (10 high-rise buildings, dozens of offices, more than 200 classrooms, many lecture halls, laboratories, etc.) throughout the University campus.
Parking Division: The parking area of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City covers more than 12,000 m2 and can accommodate nearly 10,000 vehicles per day. The parking service is located within the University campus and is equipped with a data management software system. Therefore, parking for staff members, lecturers, and students is fast and secure.
Fitness Center (GYM and YOGA): The fitness center officially began operation in 2010. Located in Building D with an area of 300 m2, the fitness center is modern, well-equipped, and furnished with nearly 30 specialized training machines. Currently, the fitness center attracts many lecturers and students to participate in physical training.
Air-conditioning and Elevator Division: With a team of 6 staff members and operating since early 2021, this division performs maintenance and repairs for all air-conditioning systems and elevators across the University to ensure continuous and safe operation for students, lecturers, and staff members.
The Service Office of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City strives to become a strong unit in supporting training activities and providing convenient services for lecturers, officials, staff members, and students throughout the University. The Service Office always considers students as customers and the central focus of service, meeting the development needs of the University in the future.
