Introduction
The predecessor of the Faculty of Automotive Technology was the Automotive Mechanical Division, which was formed in the early days of the University's establishment on November 11, 1956. In March 1999, the Automotive Mechanical Division was renamed the Automotive Center, and since December 2004 it has been officially known as the Faculty of Automotive Technology.
The Faculty of Automotive Technology is responsible for undergraduate training in Automotive Engineering Technology and master's level training in Automotive Engineering. All lecturers possess strong professional expertise and practical skills, along with dynamism, enthusiasm, and dedication to their profession. Currently, the Faculty has 27 lecturers, including 1 Associate Professor, 5 PhD holders, 18 master's degree holders (3 of whom are doctoral candidates), and 3 bachelor's degree holders. The Faculty’s lecturers continuously improve their qualifications, regularly engage with industrial practices and modern technologies, and participate in annual professional training programs organized in cooperation with enterprises to enhance their professional competencies.

Based on the University's vision and mission, and through consultation with stakeholders as well as reference to training models and programs from advanced universities worldwide, the Faculty determines its training objectives and develops curricula aligned with societal needs and modern technological trends. The University has invested in modern and synchronized equipment, enabling students to gain practical experience with enterprise environments and reducing difficulties when entering the workforce. The Faculty also emphasizes the development of professional knowledge, communication abilities, foreign language proficiency, and soft skills throughout the training process.
The Faculty regularly cooperates with enterprises and organizes collaborative activities between the University and industry partners in order to improve training quality, promote technology transfer, and strengthen scientific research. The Faculty continuously updates training programs toward modernization and learner-centered approaches while ensuring rigorous training, testing, and evaluation processes for each course.
In 2019, the undergraduate training program in Automotive Engineering Technology received international accreditation according to the AUN-QA standards.
