On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh officially being honored with the name of President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026), the Party Committee of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to admit three outstanding young individuals into the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The admission ceremonies were held at Party Cells 18, 20, and 26, marking another achievement in the University's efforts to nurture outstanding Youth Union members and develop young Party members.
The three students who were honored to join the Communist Party of Vietnam are Tran Thi Que Trinh (Faculty of Foreign Languages), Le Hai Duy (School of Finance & Accounting), and Nguyen Quoc Dung (Faculty of Electrical Engineering Technology).
Prior to their admission, all three students demonstrated excellent academic performance and had actively participated in Youth Union and Student Association activities, volunteer programs, and student movements. Following a period of dedication and continuous development, with guidance and evaluation from their respective Party cells and mass organizations, they fulfilled all requirements for Party membership.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary of the University's Party Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Que Minh, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Chair of the Party Committee Inspection Commission, and Head of the Office of Finance and Accounting; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of Party Cell 18, and Officer-in-Charge of the Party and Mass Organizations Office; Mr. Le Van Hoang, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of Party Cell 28, and Secretary of the University Youth Union; Mr. Huynh Phu Vinh, Secretary of Party Cell 26; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duy, Secretary of Party Cell 20 and Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union; Ms. Bui Huynh Kieu My, Member of the Secretariat of the Vietnam National Union of Students, Ho Chi Minh City, and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House; together with members of the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union, the Secretariat of the University Student Association, representatives of faculty and institute Youth Union and Student Association branches, and all Party members from Party Cells 18, 20, and 26.
In a solemn atmosphere, the newly admitted Party members received their admission decisions and took the Party oath before the Party flag, the National Flag, and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, officially beginning their journey as members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On this occasion, representatives of the University's Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the new Party members. The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union also sent congratulatory letters and gifts. Ms. Bui Huynh Kieu My personally presented the congratulatory letters, encouraging the young Party members to continue upholding their sense of responsibility and live up to the trust placed in them by the Party organization and the city's youth.
Representatives of the University's Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union congratulated the newly admitted Party members.
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union and the Secretariat of the University Student Association also presented congratulatory gifts in recognition of the students' dedication and perseverance throughout their journey toward Party membership.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Trung Kien congratulated the new Party members and encouraged them to faithfully fulfill the duties prescribed by the Party Charter, uphold strong moral values, demonstrate leadership in learning, scientific research, digital transformation, and volunteer activities, and continue inspiring the spirit of dedication among Youth Union members and students.
