On 18/7/2022, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was honored to welcome and work with the AUN-QA Expert Delegation headed by Mr. Choltis Dhirathiti – Managing Director of AUN network to discuss issues related to Vietnam's education development, especially education accreditation. Welcoming the delegation with Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán – Vice Rector of the school with the heads of training units and functional departments.
At the meeting, Mr. Choltis Dhirathiti expressed his honor to visit and work with the School. IUH is one of the universities that systematically invests in the accreditation and quality assurance of education. He also hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will have more cooperation activities to further strengthen the relationship between the school and AUN-QA.

Discussing the accreditation of education quality, Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán shared that the school is very interested in the accreditation work, up to now, the school has had 26 training programs meeting education quality standards, of which 12 have been granted certificates of conformity with AUN-QA. The school achieved high results in ranking, was ranked 601+ best universities in Asia by QS Education in 2021, achieved 4-star QS Stars quality standards, top 6 best universities in Vietnam. The school's accreditation work has many advantages but also many difficulties, so the school is very pleased to have the opportunity to cooperate with AUN-QA to exchange and share experiences in education accreditation. Within the framework of the visit, the AUN-QA Expert Delegation visited the smart factory model of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the lab of the Faculty of Information Technology.

AUN-QA là mạng lưới chuyên trách về đảm bảo chất lượng giáo dục đại học của AUN, được thành lập với nhiệm vụ thúc đẩy hoạt động đảm bảo chất lượng tại các cơ sở giáo dục đại học, nâng cao chất lượng giáo dục đại học và hợp tác với các tổ chức trong và ngoài nước. Tháng 01/2017, Trường Đại học Công nghiệp Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh vinh dự là thành viên liên kết của AUN-QA. Việc trở thành thành viên liên kết của AUN-QA không chỉ giúp cho Trường Đại học Công nghiệp Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh tiếp tục thực hiện đổi mới các hoạt động đào tạo, nghiên cứu khoa học và các hoạt động khác theo hướng tiếp cận tiêu chuẩn trong khu vực, mà còn tạo điều kiện để Nhà trường cũng như các chương trình đào tạo của Trường được kiểm định và công nhận bởi AUN-QA. Từ đó, Nhà trường có nhiều cơ hội hợp tác với AUN cũng như các đối tác của AUN trong việc triển khai hoạt động đào tạo, nghiên cứu khoa học, trao đổi sinh viên, nâng cao năng lực đội ngũ chuyên trách công tác đảm bảo chất lượng. Thực hiện tự đánh giá và đánh giá ngoài chương trình đào tạo hướng đến mục tiêu đạt chứng nhận chất lượng giáo dục theo tiêu chuẩn của khu vực. Đây là một trong những hoạt động cốt lõi nhằm thực hiện phương châm mà Nhà trường đã đặt ra: “Chất lượng- Phát triển bền vững – Hội nhập quốc tế”.
