Under the direction of the Party Committee of the Grassroots Block of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hồ Chí Minh City and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Hồ Chí Minh City University of Industry. On 19/08/2022, the 25 Branch solemnly organized the Branch Congress to evaluate the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress for the term 2020 - 2022, set goals, tasks and solutions for the new term; to elect sub-committees, secretaries and deputy secretaries of the branch for the term 2022 - 2025.
Attendees of the Congress were Comrade Hà Thị Hồng Hải - Member of the Board of Directors, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Grassroots Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hồ Chí Minh City. Comrade Phan Hồng Hải – Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector, Comrade Hoàng Đơ – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, fellow members representing the branches at IUH and 11 party comrades of the 25 branch.
In the 2020-2022 term summary report, the 25 Branch Committee affirmed that in the past term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the branch has made many efforts in leading and achieving many positive results: Political-ideological education has changed markedly; perform well the management and education of Party members; strictly exercise authority in the organization of cadres; Pay attention to assigning tasks to party members, assigning tasks to comrades at the level of commissioners; adhere to the Party's operating principles, especially the principles of democratic centralization, self-criticism and criticism; The quality of branch and committee activities is gradually improved; ensure leadership and education in branch activities.

Addressing the Congress, Comrade Phan Hồng Hải – Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector emphasized the significance of the congress, recognized, praised and appreciated the results achieved by the 25 branch and branch committee in the past term. At the same time, he also pointed out the limitations of the Branch and especially directed and orientated a number of key tasks as a basis for the 25 Branch to add to the organizational solution to implement the tasks in the term 2022-2025 associated with the vision, the mission, educational philosophy and core values of the school, in accordance with the targets set by the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, focusing on solutions to improve the effectiveness of service quality for training; strengthening learner support and community service; human resource development solutions at the unit.
