On November 25, the Labour Union Executive Committee, in collaboration with IUH Youth Union, held the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation of the Cultural Performance Contest, along with the Commendation Ceremony for individuals recognized as Outstanding Young Faces of IUH. This annual activity acknowledges the remarkable contributions of staff, employees, and students, while nurturing a vibrant cultural environment across IUH.
Vibrant and Impressive Performances
Since its launch, the 2025 Cultural Performance Festival for staff and employees has attracted more than 40 participating units, delivering a wide variety of meticulously staged performances. At the Award Ceremony, the IUH Labour Union presented 55 group awards and 15 individual awards to the best-performing staff and employees.
Among the standout presentations, the joint team of the Testing & Quality Assurance Office – Library Center – Dormitory Management Office impressed audiences with their well-prepared, grand-scale, and artistic program. Under the theme “I Love My Homeland”, their “showcase program” depicted an artistic journey rich in epic elements, honoring the timeless beauty of Vietnam’s landscape and people. Opening with the powerful dance “Hào khí trời Nam”, the program transitioned into a medley including Nam quốc sơn hà – Đất Nước lời ru – Hào khí Việt Nam, resonating with the nation’s heroic spirit. The performance “Ngẫu hứng sông Hồng” brought a softer tone, expressing gratitude to mothers and sisters who stand as the quiet strength behind the nation. Concluding with the choral-dance piece “Tôi yêu Tổ quốc tôi”, the entire program symbolized a continuous flow of Vietnam’s history heroic, radiant, and filled with national pride. The seamless staging and harmonious blend of visuals, props, and choreography earned the team First Prize in the Program Category.
In the Student Cultural Performance Festival, the Youth Union awarded prizes to more than 100 outstanding performances. Launched in early November, the contest received a record number of entries with remarkable quality. Many performances stood out for their creativity, youthful energy, and artistic ability.
Diverse categories, including solo and group singing, dancing, and independent choreography, brought vibrant, emotional moments to the festival. The Organizing Committee recognized and rewarded teams with exceptional achievements, while highly appreciating the dedication, effort, and enthusiasm of participating students. Once again, the festival underscored the importance of cultural and artistic activities in fostering a healthy, engaging environment for students to develop their talents and connect with the IUH community.
