More than 2,000 staff, students, and employees energized Youth Month and the launch of the 2026 University Sports Festival, showcasing the university’s commitment to youth empowerment, dedication, and physical fitness.
On the afternoon of March 26, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, while also launching the “IUH Youth Festival 2026” and opening the 2026 University Sports Festival. The program was jointly organized by the Labor Union and the Youth Union.

Representing the Party Committee and the University Board of Management, Mr. Pham Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented flowers to mark the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
 

The event was attended by Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng, Vice Rector of the University; Mr. Lê Ngọc Sơn, Chairman of the University Labor Union; representatives of various units; and many Youth Union officials, Student Association officers, and students from across the university.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, 22 outstanding Youth Union officials of 2026 were honored for their remarkable contributions. This recognition not only acknowledged achievements but also inspired a stronger spirit of commitment among students, setting the stage for the subsequent announcement of the list of outstanding union members.

Following the recognition of Youth Union officials, the University Youth Union announced and submitted the list of outstanding union members in 2026 to the University Party Committee for consideration, training, and Party admission. This step continued the identification and introduction of exemplary young individuals, affirming the Youth Union’s role in Party development.

The “IUH Youth Festival 2026,” organized to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), officially opened the series of Youth Month activities.
