Exciting atmosphere at the Closing Conference of Youth Month and the 2026 Student Sports Festival.
Present at the program were Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of the University; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thương, Member of the Party Committee, Director of the Information and Communications Center, and Head of the Party and Mass Organizations Office. Also attending were representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam National Union of Students of Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of university units, and many Youth Union and Student Association officers and IUH students.
From the very beginning, the auditorium was lively with youthful musical performances that carried the distinctive spirit of IUH students. Throughout the program, video highlights revisited the journey of Youth Month 2026 with many meaningful activities such as community volunteer programs, digital transformation initiatives, youth innovation movements, academic playgrounds, and cultural and sports activities that connected students across the University.
The program aimed to review Youth Month 2026, which had the theme: “IUH Youth Innovating Methods of Youth Union Activities.” It also honored outstanding groups and individuals for their achievements in organizing innovative activities within the Youth Union and Student Association, as well as for their notable performances in this year’s Student Sports Festival.
Faculty, institute Youth Union groups, and individuals received certificates of merit from the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union for their outstanding contributions during Youth Month 2026.
“This year’s Youth Month created new volunteer models, launched digital transformation projects, and fostered youth-led innovation. Students developed practical skills through these activities while nurturing a sense of social responsibility, aspiration, and courage,” Mr. Lê Văn Hoàng stated.

The University always hopes IUH students will excel professionally and have strong social responsibility. Students should know how to share, create, and take initiative. Activities of today’s youth are important foundations for their future growth and integration, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng shared.
