Vietnam - Korea Business & Investment Association (VKBIA), VKBIA Group Joint Stock Company, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) to train highly skilled and culturally knowledgeable, languge competent human resources to meet demand of the human resources working at FDI enterprises, subsidiary industry enterprises, manufacturing enterprises and the fields that society needs.

On March 30, in Ho Chi Minh City, the signing ceremony of comprehensive cooperation for the program linking education and training, developing highly skilled human resources took place. Attending the ceremony, there were: Dr. Tran Hai Linh, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Business & Investment Association (VKBIA); Dr. Phan Hong Hai, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (IUH); and leaders of departments, business people and representatives of organizations.
The three breakthroughs clearly mentioned in the text of the 13th Congress of the Party include the complete synchronization of the development institutions, prioritizing the institutions for the development of the socialist-oriented market economy; developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources; building a modern and synchronized infrastructure system, both economically and socially. And the success of the 13th Congress has continued to affirm that highly skilled and qualified human resources meeting the development requirements of society will play an important role in the development and construction of the country.
Therefore, connecting a network of experts, intellectuals and oversea entrepreneurs to contribute to the development of education and training, developing quality human resources of the country is becoming more and more urgent.
In order to further implement the meaningful cooperation, the Vietnam - Korea Association of Entrepreneurs & Investors (VKBIA), VKBIA Group Joint Stock Company, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) to train highly skilled, qualified, culturally knowledgeable, language competent human resources to meet the demand of human resources working in FDI enterprises, subsidiary industry enterprises, manufacturing enterprises and the fields that society needs.
At the same time, VKBIA and IUH will simultaneously develop and build education and training systems in accordance with the needs of strongly developing industrial technology sectors, including the application of Korea's advanced training and education model.
Mr. Tran Hai Linh, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam – Korea Entrepreneurs & Investment Association emphasized: "The Government's policy in building "The Government creating development, integrity, drastic action to serve people and businesses" is very suitable for building a socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam in the current context".
According to Mr. Tran Hai Linh, in order to achieve the above objectives, the market economy must strongly release the production power, mobilize and use appropriately and effectively social resources, both domestically and overseas, creating a driving force for the country's economy to develop sustainably and integrate successfully; the people's material, spiritual lives and civil rights are constantly being raised; ecological environment is protected. In order to achieve its goals of having rich people, strong countries, democracy, fairness and civilization, Vietnam needs to develop human resources with qualifications and quality, meeting the needs of society, and take advantage of opportunities and accelerate breakthroughs in the 4.0 Revolution, develop and promote the key sectors in science and technology, trade and services. And it is necessary to consider the training and development of high-quality human resources as one of the most important breakthroughs.
Mr. Pham Hai Dinh, CEO of VKBIA Group, Vice Chairman of Vietnam – Korea Intellectuals Experts Association emphasized: Vietnam – Korea Association of Experts – Intellectuals (VKEIA) with nearly 1,000 members who are experts and intellectuals who have lived and worked in Korea and other developed countries around the world, with professional knowledge and extensive network, as well as being a member association of VKBIA Association, will try its best to accompany and contribute to the cause of education, training and development of quality human resources in Vietnam.
Mr. Phan Hong Hai, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (IUH) expressed his hope that the cooperation between VKBIA and IUH will bring very practical effects for the development between the parties, while contributing to the development of quality human resources in the future. Mr. Phan Hong Hai also hopes that this will be a big push for IUH to strengthen the application of training and education models from developed countries around the world, promoting the growing knowledge economy, enhancing international cooperation, supporting development in the global integration process.
