On the morning of March 25, 2022, Industrial University of Hồ Chí Minh City held the Closing Ceremony of the Contest "Innovation for Green Life - Innogreenlife2021" and especially the Launch Ceremony of Spin-off Enterprise D-Health. This is a great leap in start-up and commercializing products at the university.
On the morning of March 25, 2022, Industrial University of Hồ Chí Minh City solemnly held the Closing Ceremony of the contest "Innovation for Green Life - Innogreenlife2021". Attendees of the ceremony are Mr. Vương Đức Tuấn – Deputy Director of The Southern Work Department; Mr. Trần Giang Khuê – Head of The Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Bureau in Ho Chi Minh City with the Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center. Representatives of investment funds - Enterprises include DGroup Holding Fund, DNA Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Thuận Hưng Company, Thiên Trường Company, Gotrust Company, Uniworld Company, Pacisoft Vietnam, Electric Bird, Vietnam Chatbot Company, MPA Group Joint Stock Company, Hult Prize Vietnam.
Representatives from IUH are Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – the Rector, along with all the heads, deputy heads of units, departments and representatives of 60 teams.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải thanked the investment funds and businesses for always caring and accompanying IUH students. The university expressed its desire to cooperate with the units to bring the best learning conditions for students, thereby also improving the quality of human resources that IUH annually trains for the society.
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Vương Đức Tuấn - Deputy Director of the Southern Work Department - Ministry of Science and Technology also sent congratulations to the organizers and the teams participating in the successful contest "Innovation for Green Life – Innogreenlife 2021". He highly appreciated creative and good-quality participants’ ideas. He added that the students have constantly tried to study to gain achievements as today.
The organizers of the contest awarded the TOP 20 teams with the best ideas that entered the Idea Screening Round. The top winners in the competition were:
- Team D- HEALTH - First Prize - Equipment to support online health index monitoring at home D-healthy
- CHAOS Team - 2nd Prize - Soap bottle made from nature -an alternative for plastic bottles
- NEWBIE Team - Third Prize - Converting coffee grounds and plastic waste into garment fabrics and cosmetics
- The most innovative project: E-farm - a solution to connect and develop the value chain for Vietnamese agriproducts.
- Favorite project: M.E - Vitis green tablet towel.
- Best Startup Student Project: DR MOON-Fresh “vegan-ice cream”
- Best Female Founder: ECOWHEEL - application of environmental protection technology and traffic participation support
- The most impressive startup project: GOODFOOD4.0 - Calorie control app through daily/weekly meal
Among the ideas and products in the contest, D-Health is the top winner and also the product with the farthest progress, currently ranked in the top 10 SV-Startup contest 2021 of the Ministry of Education and Training, promising to become a branded commercial product of Industrial University of Hồ Chí Minh City.

Within the ceremony framework, Mr. Phan Hồng Hải signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Industrial University of Hồ Chí Minh City and D-Group Holding Investment Fund and enterprises such as DNA Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Thuận Hưng Company, Thiên Trường Company, Gotrust Company, Uniworld Company, Electric Bird Company, MPA Company and Chatbot Company.
