In the afternoon January 26, 2018 at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, the handover ceremony of Etap Power Lab is held by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering donated by East Sea Energy Environment (ESEC) – on behalf of OIT U.S in Vietnam, that is worth US$S814,546.
Attending the ceremony are representatives from ESEC, Mr Tran Thanh Khang – General Director, Senior representative of ETAP in Vietnam; Mr Ha Duc Cuong – Executive Director; representatives from IUH are Dr Nguyen Thien Tue - President; Mr Pham Trung Kien – Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, together with the Faculty’s students and lecturers; representative from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Faculty of Electronics and Electricity, Mr Vo Ngoc Dieu, Head of Division of Electrical System.

On behalf of the university, President Nguyen Thien Tue expressed his appreciation to ESEC for making a bridge that Faculty of Electrical Engineering of IUH can receive the very meaningful ETAP software donated by OTI U.S, serving learning, teaching and doing research. Throughout the cooperative program between ESEC, OTI U.S, and IUH, students have chances to approach new advanced technologies, designing tools, simulation model, and operation manners of electrical system. This consolidates the linkage between theory in school and practical in industry. In addition, this is also the occasion of introducing new technology and products of ESEC. IUH is the 6th educational organization receiving the ETAP software donated. Dr Nguyen Thien Tue also showed his confidence in a further development of relationship between IUH, ESEC, and OTI U.S.
