In Hạnh Thông Ward, IUH was designated as Polling Area No. 31, with more than 3,000 registered voters, mainly students residing in the university dormitory. It was also the polling station with the largest voter turnout among the 55 polling areas in the ward.

Days before the election, the atmosphere of preparation had already become vibrant across the campus. IUH Youth Union members and students took part in decorating the polling area, guiding voters, and promoting the significance of election day through the Youth Union's, Student Association's, and student clubs' communication channels.
For many students, this was the first time they had held a ballot. As a result, many of them spent time learning about the candidates before election day.
Sharing their experience of voting for the first time, many students said they felt more mature as they exercised their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Personally, selecting representatives who would reflect the will and aspirations of the people made them more aware of their own responsibility toward the country’s overall development.

IUH students excitedly exercise their civic rights for the first time
Student communication channels widely shared information about the election’s significance and citizens’ rights and responsibilities throughout the IUH community.
From the very first ballots of youth, the spirit of civic responsibility is gradually being nurtured in lecture halls. And on this important day for the country, IUH students are also contributing their voices to the shared journey of social development.
