Overview of the election
Days before the election, the atmosphere of preparation had already become vibrant across the campus. IUH Youth Union members and students took part in decorating the polling area, guiding voters, and promoting the significance of election day through the Youth Union's, Student Association's, and student clubs' communication channels.
For many students, this was the first time they had held a ballot. As a result, many of them spent time learning about the candidates before election day.
Sharing their experience of voting for the first time, many students said they felt more mature as they exercised their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Personally, selecting representatives who would reflect the will and aspirations of the people made them more aware of their own responsibility toward the country’s overall development.
