In the morning of October 18, 2021, the 240th AUN-QA Standard Training Program was held at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
The opening session was held online with the participation of the evaluation team from AUN: Dr. Choltis Dhirathiti - Managing Director of AUN-QA, Mr. Prem Anand - Director and Head of The Evaluation Team of Fashion Technology, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Amalina Afifi - Head of evaluation team of Computer Engineering Technology, Dr. Maria Elissa Lao - Head of e-commerce evaluation team; assessors Dr. Irene Villasenor, Prof. Dr. Streerut Thadakant, Assoc.Prof. Dr Prakorn Siriprakob, Prof. Dr. Marilou G. Nicolas, Prof. Dr. Luerat Anuratpanich; And the secretaries: Mr. Wanthep Nakthippiman, Ms. Saruda Moolwong, Mr. Korn and Ms. Ing-orn. IUH representatives include Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – the Rector, Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng - Vice Rector along with the Deans, Vice Deans, and the teaching staff of 04 faculties with a program assessed this time.

Đợt đánh giá diễn ra trong bối cảnh đặc biệt khi TP.HCM đang trong giai đoạn giãn cách vì dịch COVID-19. Đoàn đánh giá AUN sẽ làm việc trong 5 ngày từ 18-22/10/2021. Tại đợt đánh giá lần này, IUH có 4 chương trình đào tạo tham gia kiểm định bao gồm: Công nghệ Kỹ thuật Nhiệt, Công nghệ May, Công nghệ Kỹ thuật máy tính, Thương mại Điện tử.

The evaluation took place in a special context when HCM is in a social distancing period because of the COVID-19 epidemic. The AUN assessment team will work for 5 days from October 18 to 22, 2021. At this evaluation, IUH has 4 training programs participating in the inspection including: Thermal Engineering Technology, Garment Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, E-Commerce.
IUH has 4 training programs participating in training quality accreditation according to AUN-QA standards this time.
On behalf of the school leadership, Dr. Phan Hong Hai expressed his deep thanks to AUN - QA for supporting IUH in the process of accrediting. He is looking forward to hearing the comments from the evaluation team to, improve and enhance the quality of training at the institution. The results of this assessment will help the training programs review the results they have done in the past, find the strengths and weaknesses of the program to continue to improve in the future.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the AUN-QA evaluation team, Mr. Prem Anand highly appreciated the preparation of IUH and its accredited units and IUH's strength in ensuring the quality of training of the University in particular and accompanying AUN's activities in general. The results of certification of AUN-QA standards as well as the lessons learned about ensuring the quality of education standards in Asean region in the past external assessments, he believes that IUH will continue to achieve the expected results.

After the opening ceremony, the assessors began working in the interview rooms of 04 programs. IUH believes that with the careful preparation of the units, the assessed programs this time will receive positive results from the evaluation team.
