In 2025, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) marked a significant milestone, with 12 faculty members recognized by the State Council for Professorship Titles for meeting the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor. At the same time, the University welcomed four newly appointed Associate Professors to join its academic staff.
On the morning of December 5, 2025, IUH solemnly held the Ceremony to Honor and Appoint Professors and Associate Professors of 2025. The event was attended by the University Board of Presidents, the University Council, leaders of academic units, and the families of the honored faculty members. The ceremony took place in a warm and dignified atmosphere, recognizing the outstanding contributions of IUH’s scholarly community.

With remarkable achievements in scientific research and training, IUH has seen significant growth in its academic workforce in recent years. In 2024, nine lecturers were promoted to Associate Professor, and four more were newly recruited by the University. Continuing this upward trend, in 2025, IUH recognized 12 additional faculty members as Professors and Associate Professors, and welcomed four newly appointed Associate Professors.
This steady, high-quality expansion over two consecutive years demonstrates IUH’s strong commitment to developing its academic capacity and affirming its position in Vietnam’s higher education landscape.
