The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) has allocated nearly VND 1.56 billion in scholarships to outstanding graduates who continue their studies at higher levels, as the University awarded degrees to its new PhD and master's graduates.
On the afternoon of August 15, IUH held an opening ceremony for Cohort 10A of its doctoral programs and Cohort 16A of its master's programs, along with a degree conferral ceremony for PhD and master's graduates from the April 2026 graduation period.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu, Vice Rector of IUH; Dr. Le Ngoc Son, Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate Education; faculty and institute leaders; and newly graduated PhD and master's students.
In this intake, IUH welcomed 56 doctoral students across 11 disciplines and 157 master's students across 16 disciplines. They are continuing their postgraduate education at a time when the demand for highly qualified human resources is becoming increasingly evident in the labor market.
Alongside welcoming the new cohorts, IUH awarded degrees to students who completed their programs in the April 2026 graduation period. They included four new PhD graduates in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, and Business Administration, as well as 51 new master's graduates.
Notably, 20 master's graduates were recognized for outstanding academic achievement. They not only completed their programs but also demonstrated exceptional performance throughout their studies and research.
Among those honored was Vo Ngoc Huyen Tram, a graduate of the Master's Program in Electrical Engineering, Cohort 13B2 (2023-2025). During her studies, Huyen Tram received recognition for scientific research and outstanding graduation performance. She has also been admitted as a doctoral student and will continue her academic journey at the PhD level.
Speaking at the ceremony, Huyen Tram said the degree she received represented far more than the graduate's efforts alone.
"The degree we receive today has never belonged to us alone. It carries the dedication of our teachers, the companionship of our friends, and the quiet love and support of our families," Huyen Tram shared.

According to Huyen Tram, postgraduate study is not always easy. The pressures of study, research, and everyday life can present students with difficult choices and challenges. Yet it is precisely through these uncertainties that they grow.
"Some paths become meaningful not because they are easy, but because after all the uncertainties along the way, we realize how much we have grown since the day we began," Huyen Tram said.
Beyond recognizing academic achievements, IUH continues to invest in encouraging graduates to pursue higher levels of education. The University allocated nearly VND 1.56 billion in scholarships for students with good and outstanding graduation results who choose to continue their studies at a higher level, including 58 scholarships for graduates.
The scholarship policy provides additional motivation for learners to look beyond earning a degree and continue developing their professional expertise and research capabilities.

It also helps develop a highly qualified workforce capable of conducting research and addressing emerging real-world challenges. For this reason, IUH places strong emphasis on creating a learning environment that integrates scientific research, professional practice, and the evolving needs of society."
