On September 30, 2020, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the educational sponsorship from Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MMV). The sponsored product is a Mitsubishi Outlander for the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology - IUH, the total sponsorship value estimated more than VND 690 millions.
Attending the ceremony, representatives from the Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd were Mr. Masaki Makahara - Production Development Director and Mr. Nguyen Hieu Nghia - General Director of Technical Department. On the side of IUH, there were Mr. Phan Hong Hai - Secretary of the IUH Party Committee, Rector of the University; Mr. Le Van Tan - Vice Rector of the University; with leaders of functional falcuties; Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology lecturers and students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Hong Hai expressed: “The reception of the car giving by MMV has practical meaning as it is not only a visual tool for teaching but also an opportunity for students to practice and study. The event also enhances the close connection between the school and business, help students find job after graduate and the business recruit high quality human resources.

In response, Mr. Masaki Nakahara said, MMV had been implementing several community activities such as sponsoring education, sports, tourism, etc. The car sponsorship program aims to serve the teaching and practice for students in the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology. MMV would continue to accompany and support Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology students in particular and IUH students in general in the coming time.
