On January 7, 2025, IUH welcomed a delegation from the Education Community Support Center of Iksan, together with representatives of Wonkwang University of Health Sciences. Within the program framework, IUH and the Education Community Support Center of Iksan City held a formal signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement.
Attending the event on behalf of IUH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Phạm Trần Bích Thuận, Deputy Head of the Office of Scientific Management and International Cooperation; Prof. Dr. Trần Đình Thắng, Head of the Faculty of Health Sciences; and Dr. Nguyễn Trường Sa, Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Representing the Korean partners were Ms. In-Kyeong Han, Director of the Office of Educational Cooperation; Ms. Kum-Yeon Ku, Head of the Education Development Special Zone Project Group at Wonkwang University of Health Sciences; and other members of the delegation.

- Developing and sharing training programs, learning materials, and educational resources;
- Coordinating internship programs, fieldwork, and experiential learning activities;
- Supporting international students during their studies and in stabilizing their lives in the Republic of Korea.
Leaders of the Education Community Support Center of Iksan City also expressed their readiness to accompany IUH and Wonkwang University of Health Sciences in expanding joint research cooperation programs.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai noted that with nearly 70 years of establishment and development, IUH has grown into a multidisciplinary university, in which the health sciences sector has always received strong investment and attention. Cooperation with Korean partners is expected to provide valuable career development opportunities, broaden international exposure, and facilitate access to new technologies for students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The cooperation signing between IUH and the Education Community Support Center of Iksan City (Republic of Korea) opens numerous opportunities for international learning and exchange for IUH faculty members and students.
