The 18th Volunteer Spring Campaign in 2026 was officially launched, with more than 1,000 volunteers from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) participating.

The event welcomed representatives from Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Students’ Association, including key members of the campaign's Steering Committee.
Representing the University were Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; Mr. Lê Văn Hoàng – Secretary of the Youth Union; and representatives from various offices, departments, faculties, institutes, and more than 500 student volunteers.

The program celebrated the 14th National Congress, the 96th Party anniversary, and the upcoming Lunar New Year of Bính Ngọ 2026.
Upholding the pioneering and volunteer spirit of IUH students, with a strong aspiration to contribute and share, the Youth Union and Students’ Association of the University have implemented numerous practical activities to bring a warmer, more fulfilling spring to disadvantaged individuals and vulnerable groups in society.
This year, the campaign introduced university-supported measures, including over VND 150 million in aid and 150 Tet gifts, addressing the needs of struggling students.

The “Vietnamese Tet Space” program promoted traditional values and a festive atmosphere, with nine themed spaces creatively decorated by students.

These teams officially debuted at the launch ceremony and are ready to carry out many meaningful activities, spreading the spirit of youth initiative and community responsibility among IUH students.

On the Bính Ngọ Lunar New Year, the University has introduced a range of practical support packages to help disadvantaged students return home for Tet. Specifically, these include: 200 bus tickets and 200 gift packages worth VND 500,000 each under the “Spring Journey Bus” program; 300 lucky money gifts worth VND 500,000 each for disadvantaged students; 20 cash grants worth VND 3 million each for students in especially difficult circumstances; 10 Tet gift packages worth VND 1 million each for Youth Union and Students’ Association officers facing hardship; and 10 gift packages worth VND 500,000 each for students staying in the dormitory during Tet.Some images from the program:
