Engineering and technology are among the outstanding strengths of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH). The University’s continued efforts to strengthen cooperation with major corporations in the mechanical engineering sector are opening more opportunities for students in learning, hands-on practice, and employment.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of IUH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai – Vice Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam – Head of the Office of Science Management and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Đức Nam – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology; Dr. Châu Minh Quang – Deputy Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate Education, along with leaders of the Faculty Board and academic divisions under the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology. Representing Đại Dũng Group were Mr. Phạm Thành Đa, Deputy Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Nguyễn Hợp Tú, Director of Human Resources; and their colleagues.
At the meeting, both sides exchanged an overview of their training capacity, development potential, and future cooperation directions. Accordingly, IUH and Đại Dũng Group agreed to implement practice-oriented training programs, coordinate study visits, internships, technology transfer, and professional skills development for students, while also prioritizing recruitment, employment opportunities, and professional development for graduates.
IUH will admit and train Group staff at master's and doctoral levels, supporting professional upskill and expanding cooperation in research, field trips, and recruitment.

Đại Dũng Group will involve experts in teaching, update programs to match industry needs, and provide interns with certificates and job consideration.
Based on their respective strengths and mutual needs, IUH and Đại Dũng agreed to establish a long-term cooperative relationship to develop high-quality technical human resources, promote applied research, and manufacture mechanical structural products. Representatives of both parties signed the development cooperation agreement: Mr. Phạm Thành Đa – Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Đại Dũng Group (left), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai – Vice Rector of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai shared: “Engineering and technology, including mechanical engineering, are among the fields that the University has trained in for the past 70 years, providing many generations of engineers who have been highly appreciated by enterprises. IUH is honored to become a partner of Đại Dũng – one of Vietnam’s leading technology enterprises in the field of steel structures, specializing in providing EPC services and products for key national and international projects.”
After the signing ceremony, delegates visited the practice laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology.
