On the afternoon of November 28, 2025, IUH signed cooperation agreements with the Ho Chi Minh City Forensic Center and Short Hills Vietnam Co., Ltd., reaffirming the University’s orientation toward expanding partnerships with specialized organizations in the Chemistry – Pharmaceutical field.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Hà Phương – Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Forensic Center; Mr. Fang Cheng (Edward) – Representative Director of Short Hills Vietnam Co., Ltd.; and senior representatives from both units.
From IUH, participants included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam – Head of the Office of Science Management & International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Cường – Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology, and the faculty’s academic leaders.
Following the orientation of linking training and research with real-world needs while enhancing operational effectiveness, IUH, the Ho Chi Minh City Forensic Center, and Short Hills Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially signed a Cooperation Agreement, aiming toward comprehensive and sustainable collaboration.
IUH – Ho Chi Minh City Forensic Center
The two sides will jointly design annual observation and internship programs tailored to the Center’s capacity, ensuring a safe and effective environment for students. In addition, IUH and the Center will organize on-site visits to specialized departments, enabling students better to understand the distinct working environment of the forensic field.
The Center will prioritize recruiting graduates with strong professional competencies and excellent academic results. It will also enhance collaborative activities that connect training with real-world practice, especially within the STEM Talent Engineer – Master program. Furthermore, the Center will participate in curriculum review and adjustments to align with industry demands, ensuring that training content closely aligns with employer expectations.

Both sides also committed to sharing laboratory resources, aiming for the common goal of “co-developing talent – sharing resources – advancing together for mutual benefits.” This cooperation significantly enhances the applied research capacity of both institutions, particularly within the STEM Talent Engineer and Master's programs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai emphasized IUH’s strategic direction in expanding partnerships with enterprises and specialized centers:
IUH is committed to ensuring that training aligns with industry realities and labor market needs. Through collaborations with industry partners and professional units such as the Forensic Center and Short Hills Vietnam, students gain access to real-world environments, understand professional workflows, technical requirements, and emerging expectations in the field. This helps them integrate into their jobs immediately after graduation without being limited by theory alone.”
She also affirmed that IUH will continue building a multidimensional cooperation ecosystem and expanding its enterprise network, ensuring that Chemistry–Pharmaceutical students and all IUH students can “learn by doing,” participate in specialized internships, and access sustainable employment opportunities
