On the morning of October 23, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee held a ceremony to commemorate the 95th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mass Mobilization Work (October 15, 1929 – October 15, 2024) and to honor exemplary collectives and individuals in the “Skillful Mass Mobilization” emulation movement 2025 at the President Ho Chi Minh Statue Park (Nguyen Hue Street).

At the ceremony, Dr. Phan Hong Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) was honored as one of 95 exemplary individuals, recognizing his dedication in leadership, innovation, and in effectively integrating the “Skillful Mass Mobilization” movement into practical activities that serve the people, promote administrative reform, and advance digital transformation in higher education.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee (center, left), together with Mr. Phan Le Vu – Head of the Division for Mass Mobilization of State Agencies, Social Organizations, and Associations under the HCMC Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Board, presented Certificates of Merit to outstanding individuals in the “Skillful Mass Mobilization” movement 2025, including Dr. Phan Hong Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of IUH (sixth from the right).

In this emulation campaign, several collectives and individuals from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) were also honored by the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee at the grassroots level:

During the 2024–2025 academic year, IUH continues to promote community-oriented activities, such as offering scholarships totaling nearly VND 80 billion to students in difficult circumstances from the University’s and corporate partners’ funds; developing public utility projects for underprivileged localities; and mobilizing staff, lecturers, and employees to actively contribute to national relief efforts during natural disasters and epidemics.

At IUH, mass mobilization work is consistently implemented through targeted and practical actions, closely tied to the lives of learners and employees. These efforts help spread the spirit of “skillful mass mobilization,” strengthen the grand unity bloc within the University, and bring the Party’s policies and resolutions into real life through “the people’s will and strength.”
