Having fully satisfied all 10 European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) for quality assurance in higher education without receiving any post-review conditions, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) has officially been recognized as meeting the quality assurance standards of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).

On June 19, 2026, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was officially awarded institutional accreditation in accordance with the United Kingdom's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) standards.
The recognition followed an International Quality Review (IQR) institutional evaluation conducted from March 24 to 26, 2026. During the review, an international panel of experts carried out a comprehensive assessment of the University's operations, including governance, teaching and learning, scientific research, learner support services, facilities, and quality enhancement mechanisms.

According to the review panel's final report, IUH fully met all 10 ESG standards, and the quality assurance framework was widely adopted across the European Higher Education Area. Notably, the University was not subject to any conditions or recommendations requiring corrective action following the review, and the panel also recognized numerous examples of good practice in institutional governance and quality assurance.
The QAA accreditation represents another milestone in IUH's continuous quality enhancement journey. The University has consistently prioritized building and strengthening educational quality in accordance with national standards, viewing this as the foundation for progressively aligning with regional and international higher education quality frameworks.
This achievement builds upon a series of important quality milestones. In 2023, IUH successfully obtained second-cycle institutional accreditation in accordance with the regulations of Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training (Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT). Building on this accomplishment, the University further strengthened its internal quality assurance system and achieved institutional accreditation under the AUN-QA Version 3.0 framework in 2025. During the same year, IUH was the only Vietnamese higher education institution invited to share its experience in developing an internal quality assurance system at the ASEAN International Conference on Sustainable Higher Education Development. Recognition under the UK QAA standards further demonstrates the University's long-term commitment to continuously improving quality and meeting increasingly demanding national, regional, and international higher education standards.
