As the 2026-2027 academic year begins, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) continues to allocate approximately VND 80 billion to scholarships and student support programs. At the opening ceremony, IUH presented the first awards of the new academic year to students with outstanding achievements and those facing particularly difficult circumstances.

At the ceremony, IUH presented awards to students in recognition of their achievements. Nine students who achieved the highest admission results across different fields of study in the 2026 university admission cycle received VND 10 million each, while 25 students with strong academic performance during the 2025-2026 academic year received awards of VND 2 million each.

At IUH, however, scholarships are not reserved only for top-performing students. In the new academic year, the University will continue to provide scholarships to help approximately 22 students facing financial hardship remain in school, including two special scholarships with a combined value of approximately VND 400 million. Their circumstances cannot always be fully understood through grades, achievements, or rankings alone.
Every student enters university from a different starting point. Some can devote themselves fully to their studies. Others must balance their education with responsibilities to their families. Some may have to put their studies on hold because of tuition fees, living expenses, or unexpected difficulties. In such circumstances, a scholarship becomes more than a reward. It becomes support that helps students continue their education.
Each year, IUH implements a range of student support policies, including the Student Support Fund, academic incentive scholarships, nurturing scholarships, study support scholarships, and sponsored scholarships. Academic incentive scholarships are awarded based on students' academic and conduct results, with the highest level reaching up to 120% of the average semester tuition fee.
Through these policies, the University seeks to create a positive cycle in education: students' efforts are recognized, those facing difficulties receive support, businesses, organizations, and sponsors have opportunities to contribute, and the university becomes a place that not only provides knowledge but also gives young people greater opportunities to pursue their aspirations.

Student Thái Quốc Đạt has received full support for tuition fees and dormitory expenses from the University. Student Nguyễn Ngọc Như Uyên has also received tuition support to enable her to continue her studies.

"Education is not only about imparting knowledge. It is also about preserving dreams that might otherwise be lost, particularly for young people whose greatest resource is their determination.
