During this ceremony, 4 doctoral graduates and 80 master’s graduates received their degrees. Furthermore, what drew particular attention was the number of scholarships awarded alongside them. A total of 58 learners, all IUH graduates who achieved very good or excellent academic results, received scholarships encouraging them to continue to the master’s level, with a total value of more than VND 1.28 billion. In addition, many other alumni also received tuition support ranging from 15% to 25%.
Beyond that, 15 learners who graduated from the master’s program with excellent results were honored, while 12 learners with outstanding achievements in scientific research, including publications indexed in ISI and Scopus, received full-program scholarships totaling more than VND 752 million.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the University, said that the scholarships are not only financial support but also a way to motivate learners to continue their research journey. “The university hopes that students will not stop at a bachelor’s degree, but will go further, study more deeply, and contribute more to society,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lê Ngọc Sơn, Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate Education, said that the scholarship policy is part of the university’s strategy for developing postgraduate education. “IUH not only wants to attract outstanding learners, but also to accompany them throughout their academic journey,” he said.

Notably, in this intake, IUH welcomed international learners to its master’s program for the first time, including students from Laos. It is a small sign, but one that opens a broader direction for the university’s postgraduate education.
When scholarships are more than just numbers, they become an invitation to stay, to continue studying, and to continue researching. IUH is gradually becoming a destination not only for domestic students but also for international learners seeking a long-term and sustainable learning environment.
