The 2025 Student Scientific Research Conference of the Faculty of Business Administration is an annual academic forum of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City that attracts hundreds of student research projects focused on contemporary issues in business administration.

The Conference attracted many lecturers, students, and representatives from the university's departments, sponsors, and the Board of Deans
The Conference was honored to welcome representatives of the University’s functional departments; Ms. Trần Thị Hồng Vân, Training Manager of URA Vietnam Style Academy Joint Stock Company, the main sponsor of the Conference, together with the Board of Deans of the Faculty of Business Administration, distinguished lecturers, and many students from the Faculty.
After more than 4 months of implementation, the 8th IUH BASS received significant attention from undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Business Administration. The Organizing Committee received more than 202 papers for registration, an impressive number that demonstrates the increasingly widespread spirit of scientific research among students. During the review and revision process, 185 papers were accepted for publication in the faculty-level Scientific Research Conference Proceedings, and 220 students were awarded certificates of participation.
The Conference Editorial Board agreed to select five high-quality papers from various fields for oral presentation, along with ten research papers presented as posters. The oral presentations were evaluated by the Academic Council and awarded First, Second, and Third Prizes, as well as Encouragement Prizes, while the posters were assessed directly to select the Best Poster Award.

At the 8th IUH BASS, five outstanding topics were selected for oral presentation, clearly reflecting contemporary issues across business administration, marketing, human resources, logistics, and consumer behavior, particularly in the context of digital transformation and sustainable development. Specifically:
1. First prize was awarded to the research paper titled: “Exploring the impact of virtual reality experiences on tourists’ visit intention: The moderating role of technology readiness.” This prize recognized the top-ranking oral presentation as judged by the Academic Council, highlighting its innovation and relevance.

3. Third Prize was awarded for the paper: “The impact of greenwashing on circular consumption: The mediating roles of green skepticism, environmental concern, and sustainable information seeking.” This award recognized the paper’s valuable insights and robust methodology.”

4. Encouragement Prize: “Factors affecting customer satisfaction and repurchase intention toward cross-border goods in Ho Chi Minh City”.

5. Another Encouragement Prize was awarded for the research on: “The impact of uncontrolled social media usage on the work performance of office employees in Ho Chi Minh City,” highlighting the value of the study’s findings despite not receiving a higher prize.Authors: Trần Thị Thanh Thảo, Phạm Thị Thanh Thảo.

6. The Best Poster Award was presented to the research topic “Integrating the AHP method and the Pareto principle to prioritize warehouse risks of e-commerce platforms in Ho Chi Minh City in the context of flash sale order surges”.
Authors: Huỳnh Long Trúc, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Gấm.
Academic Supervisor: Doctor of Philosophy Trần Văn Khoát.
In his remarks at the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Long, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, emphasized: “This year’s topics not only demonstrate a serious academic spirit but also clearly reflect contemporary issues in business administration in the context of digital transformation and sustainable development. Research on cross-border e-commerce, consumer behavior, and green consumption, along with the application of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in marketing and tourism, shows that IUH students are approaching scientific research in a manner closely connected to practice and market demands.”
IUH BASS continues to affirm its role as a prestigious academic forum, contributing to the development of research capacity, critical thinking, and orientation toward in-depth study and research for students of the Faculty of Business Administration in the coming period.
