InnoGreenLife is not merely a competition—it is a comprehensive green entrepreneurship ecosystem embodying the spirit of “Dare to think, dare to act”, dedicated to those who aspire to change the future.
On the morning of October 24, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) solemnly held the Closing and Award Ceremony of InnoGreenLife Season 4, while officially launching Season 5 under the theme “For a Green Life.” The event marked a significant milestone in IUH’s journey to promote innovation and green entrepreneurship among its students.
InnoGreenLife – The Green Startup Ecosystem of IUH Students
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai, Vice President of IUH, emphasized that InnoGreenLife is not only a competition but also a comprehensive green startup ecosystem where students gain access to knowledge, skills, and opportunities to turn their innovative ideas into reality.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai stated: “Education is not just about degrees, but about the ability to create value. When your projects solve real problems, profit will naturally follow. More importantly, you will lead meaningful lives.”
Beyond the guidance from the University, Mr. Nguyễn Trung Dũng – CEO of DH Foods, also inspired contestants by sharing: “Success is not only about wealth but about the freedom to choose your own path. The experiences gained from projects like InnoGreenLife help you develop soft skills, practical thinking, and valuable qualities for your professional journey.”


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai also presented flowers and thank-you letters to partner enterprises accompanying the program.
Immediately after the sharing session, the Organizing Committee officially launched InnoGreenLife Season 5 – “For a Green Life,” calling on students across IUH to contribute creative and innovative ideas aimed at solving environmental challenges and advancing sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam – Director of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer, Mr. Nguyễn Trung Dũng – CEO of DH Foods, Mr. Nguyễn Minh Quang – Tan Phu Cuong Chemicals JSC, and Mr. Ngô Sĩ Kha – CEO of CT Innovation Hub 4.0, Deputy General Director of VGCT (a member of CT Group), who together performed the official kick-off ritual for InnoGreenLife 2025–2026.
Outstanding Faces Honored at the InnoGreenLife Season 4 Finale
After eight months of implementation, the competing teams made great efforts to transform innovative ideas into practical actions. The recent season attracted over 70 creative ideas and projects from students of various faculties and institutes across IUH.

The Final Round, held on May 31, 2025, featured intense and inspiring presentations as teams showcased their solutions for sustainable development.

- First Prize (1): Project “Face Recognition and Geolocation-based Attendance Application” by Võ Tất Thiên (Faculty of Information Technology) and teammates – a highly applicable, innovative technology solution for human resource management.Second Prizes (2):

- “EcoScaleGen – Extraction of Nano Collagen from Snakehead Fish Scales using Green Biotechnology” by Lê Thu Trang (Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology) and team – also winning Most Creative and Most Popular Project awards.
- “Champion Bar – Energy Bar for Athletes” by Trần Nguyên Chương (High School for the Gifted) in collaboration with IUH students Nguyễn Hoàng Kha, Mai Vinh Phúc (Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology), and Vũ Bùi Minh Hiếu (HCMC University of Science).
- Third Prizes (3):
• “Production of Vegan Whipped Cream” by Huỳnh Thái Nguyệt and team (Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology)
• “Business Model for Honey Drying Machine using Heat Pump and Ultrasonic Technology” by Bùi Quốc Vũ and team (Faculty of Thermal and Refrigeration Engineering)
- Consolation Prizes (4): Projects ENVYZIME, “Tiên âm phủ xanh”, “Solar Sea Salt Production using Greenhouse Effect Technology”, and “CIRCULAR FOOD – The Green Journey of Confectionery from Coconut By-products.”





InnoGreenLife Season 5 – Exciting New Highlights
Returning with many exciting updates, InnoGreenLife Season 5 introduces bonus points for teams presenting in English. It increases the total prize value to over VND 100 million, encouraging students to express their creativity and engage in global integration with confidence.

MSc. Thái Duy Tùng, academic advisor, presented the rules and award structure for the upcoming season.
In the Idea Round, the scoring system was refined for a more comprehensive evaluation. Sixty % of the total score focuses on relevance to the theme, effectiveness, creativity, and applicability, while the remaining 40% covers supporting factors.
The award structure includes one First Prize, two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes, one Most Creative Project Award, one Most Popular Project Award, and several Consolation Prizes for the Top 10 teams.
This year’s project span a broad range of areas, including green technology transition, climate change adaptation, green Education and lifestyle, circular economy, efficient resource utilization, and improving quality of life in the green digital era.
