On the morning of 25/11, in Ho Chi Minh City, the 2nd International Scientific Conference 2022 took place with the theme "Advanced technology and sustainable development". The conference was organized by Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Eastern International University. Along with the companion of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and the Southern Department of Work (Ministry of Science and Technology).

More than 800 scientists, experts and lecturers, including more than 200 scientists from 19 countries and territories, including: Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, China, France, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom attended the conference. In addition, representatives of science and technology management agencies of localities such as Ninh Thuận, Đồng Nai and Hồ Chí Minh City, and a number of science and technology agencies under the consulates of other countries in Hồ Chí Minh City attended.
The 2nd International Conference on Advanced Technology & Sustainable Development - 2022 (ICATSD 2022) takes place in 2 days (25 – 26/11), in which the main session of the Conference is held on 25/11 at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, delegates will attend a technology tour in high-tech factories in Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park (VISP) and sustainable and smart development ecosystem in Bình Dương New City on 26/11.

In the opening remark of the conference, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải, the Rector of IUH – emphasized: Science and technology in the new era has developed extremely strongly, requiring higher education to have fundamental changes in training thinking, exchanging methods and methods of knowledge transmission. In addition to the training function to provide society with human resources rich in knowledge, skills and ethics, the university also researches and creates new knowledge and products to transfer to society. Scientific research activities will make an important contribution to improving the quality of training, meeting increasingly demanding social needs.
International Conference on Advanced Technology and Sustainable Development - The 2nd time in 2022, with the desire to create an opportunity, a forum for scientists, managers and teachers to meet, exchange and share new achievements in science and technology in many fields from economics, administration, technology engineering, to humanistic society.

In particular, the conference also promotes cohesion and contributes to building a network of cooperation between scientists, experts and lecturers from universities and research institutes in countries. The results obtained from the conference will contribute to building a scientific and technological orientation in the context of globalization and sustainable development gradually becoming a holy consciousness for all countries.
According to the Organizing Committee, the main theme of the conference focused on exchanging, discussing and presenting advanced technologies, new achievements of science and sustainable development in the current period. After the opening session, there were 85 reports, selected from 201 scientific works attending the conference, presented by scientists at 5 thematic sessions, and 12 specialized subcommittees of the conference took place simultaneously in the following areas: Innovation and application in intelligent computing; Precision machining and advanced technology; Green solutions; Sustainable development in economies of transformation and Innovation and sustainable development in the field of humanities and social sciences.
