More than 50 businesses were actively involved in recruitment at the 'Recruitment and Employment Day 2023,' an annual event organized by the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Youth Employment Service Center (YES Center) on November 30, 2023. The festival garnered the participation of over 5,000 IUH students who eagerly registered to explore diverse employment opportunities.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong remarked, 'The Job Recruitment Day stands as a crucial annual activity, serving as a bridge for students to connect with job opportunities in their respective fields. The consistent involvement of numerous businesses in direct recruitment at the festival each year underscores the school's reputation for providing training of high quality that aligns with the current demands of businesses.

The Recruitment and Employment Day is orchestrated to provide students and job seekers with opportunities to showcase their abilities directly to employers. It serves as a platform for direct access to job vacancies across various industries that are actively seeking high-quality workers.

The Recruitment and Employment Day at IUH featured a scale of 60 booths, with participation from 50 domestic and international enterprises. Notable companies included Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Liquefied Petroleum Gas Company Limited, Viet Capital Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank), MISA Joint Stock Company, Duy Tan Plastic Company, Mitsubishi, and others. These enterprises operate across diverse sectors such as Petrochemical, Information Technology, Mechanical-Electrical-Electronics, Environment, Construction, Economics-Finance, Tourism-Restaurant-Hotel, and Food. Many of these businesses have maintained long-standing cooperative relationships with the university.

At the 2023 Job Recruitment Day, numerous IUH students secured job opportunities and earned invitations for second-round interviews from various businesses. Ms. Bich Thao, a student from the Faculty of Chemical Technology in Course 16, shared her experience: 'After submitting my profile, I had a direct interview with VT Gas at their booth. As a result, I was accepted for an internship and will have the chance to work with the company for the next 12 months. This opportunity aligns with my aspirations, and I am eager to apply my skills in the field that I am passionate about and trained for.
