On the morning of December 8, 2023, the Enterprise Collaboration and Job Support Center (ECJSC) at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held a workshop titled "Enhancing Teaching Methods for Teamwork Skills in the Context of International Integration." The workshop aimed to elucidate effective approaches for teaching teamwork skills, refine teaching methodologies within Problem-Based Learning (PBL) projects, and emphasize the instruction of soft skills in alignment with international integration.

The workshop was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Vu, the Director of ECJSC, Ms. Nguyen Thi Chau, Deputy Director of ECJSC, and lecturers who have been actively involved in teaching soft skills in recent years.

Addressing the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Vu deliberated on the rationale and importance of organizing the event. He conveyed his gratitude, stating, "Thank you for dedicating your time to participate in this seminar where we engage in professional discussions. While the two soft skills subjects are widely integrated, students hold a positive impression of the subjects. Nevertheless, certain limitations exist in the teaching methods. Hence, this workshop serves as a platform to share, exchange experiences, and subsequently implement and apply improvements to the curriculum."

During the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Chau presented the evolution of the soft skills teaching process and its accomplishments: "Over the past 6 years, we have implemented the Lecture Improvement Cycle (PDCA) for soft skills modules. Thanks to PDCA, our lecturers have crafted lectures using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method to meet outcome standards effectively. Over the last three years, more than 200 soft skills classes have embraced the PBL approach, yielding positive results each year."

The seminar focused on the significance of nurturing teamwork and planning skills among students. It explored recommendations and enhancements in teaching methods, including the incorporation of practical exercises to reinforce teamwork and planning skills. Additionally, the seminar addressed the integration of more applications and tools into the teaching process to align with the development of soft skills and international integration.
Following extensive discussions, educators gained valuable insights into advanced teaching methods, absorbing improvements, suggestions, and solutions. Consequently, these insights are set to be disseminated and effectively applied in the upcoming semesters.
