On the morning of January 7, 2022, the Party Committee of Industrial University of Hochiminh City held a conference to review the Party's performance in 2021, implementing the mission direction in 2022 in both offline and online forms.
In-person attendee at E2 Hall were Comrade Phan Hồng Hải – Secretary of the Party Committee, The Rector and lecturers in the Executive Committee of IUH’s Party Committee. Online attendees were more than 500 Party members affiliated to 26 branches of the university, including the branches at Thanh Hoa and Quang Ngai campuses.
Within the framework of the conference, Mr. Phạm Trung Kiên – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of IUH, on behalf of the Standing Committee, approved the Report on The Party Performance Review in 2021. In the past year, despite facing many difficulties and challenges caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, thanks to the unity and unity throughout the Party, along with the wise and timely direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee has overcome difficulties and gained many encouraging achievements. Typical achievements such as: Training activities still ensure quality and progress, thanks to the rapid application of online learning and examination forms; enrollment reached 100% of the target; 04 more training programs are successfully evaluated by AUN-QA; Scientific research activities, business connections have many improvements. Especially in 2021, the school is honored to be evaluated by QS to achieve 4 stars. For party work, the Party Committee has continued to exceed the target on Party development, ensuring the maintenance of the manners and internal political protection.
Implementing the direction of the task in 2022, Mr. Phan Hong Hai - Secretary of the Party Committee emphasized: "The central task in 2022 is to develop an action plan to concretize the adopted resolutions, especially the resolution on the implementation of internationalization of the school. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on improving the quality of training, staff training, scientific research, business connection, student support and community service to ensure the core values of the university is Innovation - Solidarity - Humanities".
Also at the conference, the Party Executive Committee commended party members and branches for their excellent achievement of their tasks.
