During the "Recruitment and Employment Day 2024" at IUH, more than 60 domestic and foreign enterprises directly interviewed and recruited candidates for 10,000 job positions.

The event "Recruitment and Employment Day 2024", organized by Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) in collaboration with the Youth Employment Service Center (YES Center) on May 10, at the lobby of H – IUH, where students and employees wishing to find a job can directly access businesses and vice verse businesses will also directly recruit skilled and qualified personnel.

Over the years, this activity has affirmed the quality of recruitment and efficiency for participating businesses, acting as a bridge between businesses and final year students as well as employees wishing to find jobs, thereby creating stability throughout the supply and demand in human resource development.

Attending the festival were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai – Vice Rector of the school, Assoc. Dr. Le Dinh Vu – Director of the Enteprise Collaboration and Job Support Center, Mr. Nguyen Thi Chau – Deputy Director of the center, alongside teachers, leaders, and lecturers from various units of IUH.

The event also welcomed notable guest figures including Comrade Truong Tan Hiep - Head of the Union of Workers and Labor Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quang Cuong - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center, and Mr. Nguyen Van Sang – Deputy Director of the center.

With a total target of more than 10,000 positions, it promises to bring attractive job opportunities to more than 5,000 graduates of the University and employees in need of jobs in Ho Chi Minh City. The festival attracted a large number of students to participate with more than 60 booths in various fields such as: Construction, Information Technology, Mechanics, Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Chemistry, Food Technology, Environment, Economics - Finance, Tourism - Restaurants - Hotels, Business Administration, ...

At the festival, thousands of IUH students seized the opportunity to secure jobs and engage in second-round interviews with various businesses. Mr. Quy, a student from class 17 at the Faculty of Information Technology, expressed, "After consulting the booths here, I have applied to 5 businesses for software development intern positions and am currently awaiting interviews. This job fair not only provides valuable recruitment information but also creates opportunities for students like me who are actively seeking employment."
