On the morning of July 14, the Party Committee of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held its Conference to Review Party Affairs in the First Six Months of 2026, outlined key tasks for the remaining six months of the year, and commended exemplary collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle in 2026.
The conference took place during a particularly significant year as IUH prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary (November 11, 1956 – November 11, 2026). It focused on reviewing the Party Committee's leadership in fulfilling political tasks and Party-building activities during the first half of the year, while identifying key priorities for the remainder of 2026.
At the conference, Mr. Pham Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, presented the report reviewing Party affairs during the first six months of 2026 and outlining key tasks for the remaining six months. The report highlighted notable achievements in Party building, leadership in political and professional activities, and identified priority tasks necessary to accomplish the University's objectives for the year.
The conference also recognized and rewarded numerous outstanding collectives and individuals. The Party Committee of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was one of eight organizations awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle. In addition, the University's Party Committee commended six collectives and 33 exemplary individuals, while honoring five Party members who had achieved the title of "Outstanding Task Completion" for five consecutive years.
