After completing his master's program, he founded Vietnam Biological Mushroom Company Limited (Vinabiomush), focusing on developing an organic cultivation model for Cordyceps militaris and producing high-value mushroom-based products.
Throughout his journey in high-tech agriculture, Trần Tài actively participated in various idea and startup competitions at the district, provincial, and national levels. These opportunities helped him refine his business mindset, restructure production models, and expand his network of experts, enterprises, and investors. His outstanding achievements include:
- First Prize at the 2024 “Youth Startup Ideas & Projects of Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province”.
- Second Prize at the 2025 National Rural Youth Startup Project Competition..
“These achievements not only contribute to enhancing the Vinabiomush brand but also affirm the quality of our products and help spread entrepreneurial spirit among the youth.”
A landmark moment in his career was a study trip to Japan, during which he was exposed to advanced mushroom-cultivation technologies. Upon returning to Vietnam, he restructured his entire company following a cleanroom model to ensure sterility and rigorous quality control. Vinabiomush now operates a closed-loop Cordyceps militaris production system from strain selection to cultivation and processing integrating automation and utilizing agricultural by-products to reduce emissions.
The model has been recognized as one of the exemplary circular agriculture models of 2024–2025 and has achieved the provincial OCOP certification.
Alongside production, Trần Tài is an active contributor to community and youth development. He serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Kim Long Commune Youth Union and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Youth Startup Club (former Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu). He has directly trained hundreds of young people in mushroom cultivation and transferred technical processes to numerous youth-led economic models.
He also collaborates with universities, cooperatives, and youth organizations to conduct field trips and training sessions on high-tech and circular agriculture, while maintaining charitable activities such as “Green Wall,” “Spring Volunteer Campaign,” and the “Zero-đồng Bus.”
Today, his business operates over 1,000 m² of production facilities, yielding more than 2,000 mushroom blocks per day, and offers short-term training programs alongside HACCP-standard production consulting. By pursuing circular, high-tech agricultural development, Trần Tài not only creates employment opportunities for local youth but also helps build a sustainable, internationally recognized Vietnamese mushroom brand.
With remarkable contributions in production, entrepreneurship, and community engagement, MSc. Trần Tài – CEO of Vinabiomush has been selected by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union as one of the 12 nominees for “Outstanding Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City 2025.”
