On the morning of April 8, 2022, the Veterans Association of IUH solemnly organized the 5th Congress of Members for the term of 2022 - 2027.
Attending and directing the Conference, representatives of leaders of Go Vap District Veterans Association, Lê Kim Bảng - Member of Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association, Chairman of Go Vap District Veterans Association, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach - Standing Member of Veterans Association, Vice Chairman of Go Vap District. IUH’s leaders representatives include the Vice Rector of IUH, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng - Member of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Labor Union, Mr. Huỳnh Phú Vinh - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the School Youth Union, representatives of leaders of the units with members participating in the Veterans Association of the school, representatives of the Veterans Association of Ward 4 and 24 members of the Veterans Association attended the Congress.
On behalf of the Presidium, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Anh reported a summary of the activities of the association, the tasks of the 2017-2022 term and the objectives, tasks and direction of the Association's activities in 2022 – 2027 term.
Next, the Presidium conducted discussions and participated in contributing members' opinions on issues such as organizing propaganda and mobilizing generations of veterans to always maintain and promote the nature of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers"; Participate in building and protecting the Party, the government, the socialist regime and the protection of the people; Taking care of the spiritual life and protecting the rights of members, preserving the great unity; Developing new members...
On behalf of Go Vap District veterans, Mr. Lê Kim Bảng noted and praised the achievements that IUH Veterans Association has achieved. He proposed that in the coming time, officials and members of the Veterans will continue to renovate the operation, actively coordinate with units and unions to strengthen the branches; promote the spirit of solidarity to well implement emulation movements and association activities; Strive to successfully complete the set goals and tasks.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Rectors sent congratulations to the Conference. Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng praised and appreciated the contributions of both the spirit and wisdom of the veterans in the construction and development of the school, thereby also wishing that, in the coming time, the veterans will keep promoting the tradition of "Uncle Ho's Solidiers", infusing fire to the young generation, Unite to contribute to building a stronger school.

In the term of 2022 - 2027, the IUH Veterans Association has set 05 main objectives and tasks:
1. Propagating, educating, campaigning and striving to reach the target that 100% of members are steadfast in their stance, firm in political and ideological politics, and absolutely trust the Party's leadership.
2. Striving to reach the target that 100% of cadres and members do not violate resolutions, guidelines and policies of the Party and laws of the State.
3. Striving to reach the target that 100% of members actively participate in campaigns and movements of the superior veteran associations and labor unions and youth unions at the school.
4. Striving to reach the target that 100% of veteran association members actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideas, ethics and style.
5. Every year, 100% of the units achieve transparency, solidation, 100% of members successfully complete their tasks, have no weak units and members (based on the results of employees’ ratings of the units).
