The 2023-2024 teaching contest for lecturers of the Center for National Defence and Physical Education, held from April 24-25, 2024, has officially concluded with encouraging results. The contest aimed to identify exemplary individuals in the profession for commendation and reward, and to evaluate the pedagogical skills of lecturers. Based on these evaluations, there are plans to enhance the pedagogical qualifications and capabilities of the teaching staff, ensuring they meet the University's current and future training requirements.
Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held the Closing Ceremony of the Physical Education Teaching Contest on the morning of May 10, 2024 at meeting room E2.

Attending the closing ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong – Vice Rector, Mr. Hoang Do – Head of the Students Support Department, Mr. Tran Thi Hue Chi – Deputy Head of the Academic Affairs Office, Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh – Deputy Director of the center, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan – Deputy Director of the center, and all lecturers from the Department of Physical Education, along with students.
During the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong – Vice Rector, remarked, "The teaching contest concluded successfully, thanks to the fairness and responsibility of the Jury, as well as the dedicated teaching of our faculty. Moving forward, our teachers will persist in self-training, professional development, and continuous improvement to enhance their capacities further. This dedication ensures their ability to fulfill assigned tasks effectively, becoming the core nucleus and upholding the school's tradition for years to come."

In this year's teaching contest, there was the participation of seven tenure lecturers at Physical Education Department - IUH, with the following results:
- The First Prize was awarded to Nguyen Thanh Liem, M.A.
- The Second prize was awarded to Pham Van Dung, M.A.
- The Third prize was awarded to Ta Hong Ha, M.A.
- Good lecturer prize was awarded to lecturers: Nguyen Lam Van Luat, M.A.; Tran Van Dung, M.A.; Nguyen Phuc Thanh Phong, M.A.; Tran Van Tuong, M.A.

The teaching contest provided teachers with valuable learning experiences, enabling them to promptly address shortcomings. These lessons serve as the foundation for enhancing the qualifications and professional capacity of the teaching staff in delivering physical education subjects, aligning with the requirements and tasks for the upcoming school years.
