On April 24, 2026, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) organized the 2026 Job Fair – Phase 1, attracting more than 60 domestic and international enterprises and over 4,500 students.
From early morning, the campus became vibrant with professionally designed recruitment booths. Students not only explored company information but also directly participated in interviews, submitted applications, and received career counseling.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the University, stated:
“Compared to traditional recruitment methods, direct interviews at job fairs significantly shorten the gap between employers and candidates. This is an opportunity for students to access real working environments, proactively assess their own capabilities, and adjust their career orientations before graduation.”
More than just an annual activity, this year’s Job Fair demonstrated significant scale, featuring over 5,000 recruitment opportunities across various sectors, including information technology, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, automation, construction, economics, finance, logistics, tourism, services, and design.
Notably, the manufacturing, industrial, and education sectors dominated with more than 3,000 vacancies, closely reflecting actual labor market demand. They were followed by finance - banking, human resources, technology, media, and service industries.
The event brought together over 60 prestigious domestic and international enterprises such as Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Laser Engineering Joint Stock Company, Electronic Tripod Vietnam Co., Ltd., Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd., Vietjet Air, and Van Khanh Investment - Trading and Construction Group Joint Stock Company.
IUH Students Make a Strong Impression at the Job Fair
One of the highlights of the IUH Job Fair was the annual survey result: over 95% of participating enterprises expressed satisfaction with the quality of human resources trained by the University. This figure not only reflects students’ ability to meet recruitment demands but also demonstrates the effectiveness of the University’s practice-oriented training approach.
Sharing his perspective at the event, Mr. Phạm Chí Dũng, Director of the Tan Dinh Branch of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank – the Diamond Sponsor of the program – stated:
“We have consistently accompanied the University in various employment-related activities to bring practical value to students. Through the Job Fair, enterprises can access and recruit suitable human resources, especially in emerging fields such as financial technology (fintech). In the coming time, we hope to expand cooperation with the University not only in recruitment, but also in training, internships, and applied research.”
