The seminar attracted many Tourism and Commerce students at IUH Thanh Hoa Campus.
The event was honored to welcome Mr. Lê Trung Dũng, Deputy Head of the Tourism Management Division of the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Dr. Lê Xuân Thảo, President of the Thanh Hoa Tourism Association. Representing the University were Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hà, Director of IUH Thanh Hoa Campus; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Công Hoan, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism & Commerce, along with lecturers and 240 final-year students (Cohort 18) majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management.

The seminar centered on two key topics: (1) an assessment of Thanh Hoa’s tourism potential and development outcomes during 2021–2025; and (2) development orientations toward 2030, with a vision to 2045, together with strategic solutions to attract international visitors to Thanh Hoa.
Mr. Lê Trung Dũng presented an overview of Thanh Hoa’s tourism resources, highlighting major developments and the province’s emergence as a travel destination. Dr. Trương Ngọc Tuấn outlined sustainable strategies for attracting international tourists, focusing on connectivity, distinctive products, skilled workforces, modern promotion, and improved tourism governance.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Công Hoan noted Thanh Hoa’s growing appeal to tourists, crediting investments in infrastructure, human resources, and services. The evolving network of destinations is increasingly meeting visitor needs.
The seminar showcased strong collaboration among the university, local agencies, and tourism businesses, reinforcing their shared commitment to training high-quality talent to drive Thanh Hoa tourism’s growth.
On the same day, lecturers and students participated in field trips and experiential learning at the Citadel of the Hồ Dynasty, Hàm Rồng Historical Site, and several other representative tourist attractions. These activities enabled learners to gain deeper insights into the local cultural and historical values, while effectively connecting theoretical knowledge with professional practice.
