From August 18 to 20, a delegation of faculty members from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) participated in the International Scholars Networking Workshop themed "Engines of Innovation: STEAM Education Driving Sustainable Growth" in Vientiane, Laos. The program was jointly organized by the National University of Laos (NUOL), Tokyo University of Technology (TUT, Japan), and IUH to strengthen mutual understanding, build academic connections, and explore opportunities for international collaboration in education and research.
IUH sent a delegation of nine faculty members representing the Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Electrical Engineering Technology, Faculty of Electronics Technology, and Faculty of Law and Political Sciences. Dr. Ngo Huu Dung, Head of the Department of Information Systems at the Faculty of Information Technology, led the delegation. The diverse academic backgrounds of the participants enabled discussions to extend beyond individual disciplines and open up opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
