On the morning of March 28, a delegation of scholars and experts from six Japanese universities visited the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and held a working session.
The participants reviewed the overview of the working session.
Representing IUH, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai, Vice Rector of the University, chaired the welcoming session, together with leaders from the Office of Science Management and International Affairs and key faculties and institutes specializing in engineering, technology, and health sciences.
On the same day, the International Workshop on Microsystems, Sensors, and MEMS for Sustainable Development Goals (IMSM-SDGs) became a vibrant academic forum. Experts exchanged ideas on emerging research directions, including smart sensors, MEMS systems, nanoelectronics, and robotics, all aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting not only opened up directions for joint research but also laid the foundation for future academic exchange programs between lecturers and doctoral researchers from both sides. Participants shared a common vision of applying science and technology to address global challenges through professional discussions.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai stated:
“Connecting with scholars from prestigious Japanese universities provides an opportunity for IUH lecturers and students to access new academic perspectives, thereby enhancing the quality of education and research.”
