Representing IUH were Ms. Phạm Tú Anh (School of Finance & Accounting) and Dr. Trần Nguyễn Tú Uyên (Faculty of Garment Technology & Fashion), who took part in the program from November 17–21, 2025. Their participation reflects the University’s integration-oriented approach to enhancing professional capacity, keeping up with emerging trends, and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s textile and fashion industry.

The training course was coordinated by MASCI – the Thai Industrial Standards Institute under the Ministry of Industry of Thailand – and led by experts in standards, quality management, and textile innovation. Throughout the program, IUH lecturers shared insights on Vietnam’s textile industry from a higher education perspective, enriching cross-national discussions.
As part of the program, the delegation also visited Sabina Company, a leading Thai brand renowned for high-quality products, a strong orientation toward recycled materials, and a zero-waste production model. At Sabina, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of production processes, recycling technologies, and initiatives to reduce environmental impact an exemplary model of sustainable fashion in the ASEAN region.
