Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai - Vice Rector of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Ngoc Nam - Head of Science Management and International Affairs office had meetings with the Consulate General of Japan and the Consulate General of Cambodia on exchanging cooperation, receiving students and seeking relationships with Japanese and Cambodian universities and businesses. This is an activity to expand and develop international cooperation at IUH to connect education with other countries.
On March 16, 2021, the delegation welcomed, met and worked with Mr. Watanabe Nobuhiro – Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. And they were honored to receive regards and work with Mr. Sok Dareth – Cambodian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City on March 19, 2021.
Representative of IUH, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai introduced the scale as well as the long history of development in the education and training sector of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. She also affirmed the strengths of the university in terms of training quality with 08 AUN-QA accreditation programs and 06 ABET accreditation programs. Currently, IUH is ranked high by QS Education, especially in Asia 2021. IUH is ready to create conditions for students from Japan and Cambodia to study at IUH with maximum-supported tuition fees and international-standard facilities for foreign students.
On the part of the Consulates, they always create conditions as a bridge for students of the two countries to have the opportunity to approach, research and implement educational cooperation together as well as topics of international cooperation. The Consulate General of Japan and the Consulate General of Cambodia both agreed and look forward to cooperating with the school soon.
For a long-term cooperation in the future, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Đàm Sao Mai is very grateful for the support from the Japanese Consulate General and the Cambodian Consulate General for promoting scientific research and international cooperation and hopes that this will be a bridge to promote cooperation with universities and businesses of these countries. In particular, the school will always innovate, improve the quality of training and scientific research to suit the continuous development requirements of society.
