Welcoming Season 2 of the “Knowledge Connection” Project by the Eurasia Foundation at IUH 11-08-2025
The “Knowledge Connection – Building the Asian Youth Community” project brings together scholars and experts from leading international universities, creating a forum to share visions, missions, and pathways for collaboration.
On the morning of August 8, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) hosted the Opening Ceremony of Season 2 of the “Knowledge Connection – Building the Asian Youth Community: Towards Sustainable Development” project. This marks the second consecutive year IUH has been entrusted with organizing the program.
The event drew the participation of many faculty members and students. Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam – Head of the Office of Science Management and International Cooperation; Dr. Nguyễn Thành Long – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Ngô Ngọc Hưng – Dean of the Faculty of Basic Sciences; and Dr. Nguyễn Bá Thành – Director of the Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology. Notably, Prof. Dr. Tai Myoung Chung from Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea), the keynote speaker for the opening session, delivered an address alongside IUH lecturers and students.
The Eurasia Foundation is a non-profit organization uniting like-minded members from Japan, South Korea, China, Mongolia, and other countries. With activities in hundreds of universities and colleges worldwide, the Foundation has organized numerous short-term courses across diverse fields, aiming to foster a sense of shared community within the region. Guided by its mission “to eliminate all conflicts in the world and build a peaceful, harmonious society for all,” the Eurasia Foundation collaborates with IUH to promote this vision, serving as a bridge between experts, scholars, and educational institutions worldwide.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trịnh Ngọc Nam stated: “Following the resounding success of Season 1, the Eurasia Foundation once again placed its trust in the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City as a hub for academic exchange. This year, IUH is honored to host Season 2 and serve as the coordinating unit for the program. This is an invaluable opportunity for IUH faculty, researchers, and students to learn, expand their knowledge, and strengthen international cooperation with universities around the world.”
As part of the ceremony, IUH presented a commemorative gift to Prof. Dr. Tai Myoung Chung from Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea).
This year’s “Knowledge Connection – Building the Asian Youth Community” project features 15 topics taught by leading international professors and experts.
