IUH’s 2025 Freshmen Welcome Festival: Honoring Valedictorians, Awarding Scholarships, and Appreciating Corporate Sponsors 01-10-2025

On the afternoon of September 30, the “IUH’s 2025 Freshmen Welcome Festival” reached its highlight — the most anticipated moment following a morning full of vibrant activities. The entire Military Zone 7 Stadium was filled with excitement and pride, radiating as the university’s largest welcome event of the year.

Over 12,000 freshmen of Cohort 21 officially became part of IUH after a highly competitive and innovative admission season. Entrance scores across majors ranged from 17 to 26.5 points, with some majors seeing a significant increase compared to the previous year — a testament to the effort and determination of this new generation of IUH students.

Alongside recruitment success, IUH continues to affirm its academic reputation and training quality. In the previous academic year, 95% of graduates secured employment, with 79% securing positions related to their field of study — clear evidence of the university’s commitment to education aligned with market needs.

IUH has achieved AUN-QA institutional accreditation (version 3.0) and currently boasts 46 accredited programs by national and international agencies, including 6 ABET-accredited, 24 AUN-QA-accredited, and 17 MOET-accredited programs. Notably, eight programs have successfully achieved their second accreditation cycle.

In June 2025, IUH made history by being listed for the first time among the world’s top higher education institutions in the QS World University Rankings 2026. According to the published results, IUH ranks in the 1201–1400 band globally, and 6th among 10 Vietnamese universities included in this prestigious ranking.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huỳnh Trung Hiếu, Member of the Party Standing Committee and Chairman of the University Council, emphasized:

“To be here today, you have overcome great effort and challenges. IUH continues to innovate in infrastructure, enhance faculty quality, and expand international cooperation to bring you a modern learning environment full of growth opportunities.
