Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City Receives the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister 30-09-2025

The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH)—a public institution under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and one of Vietnam’s leading universities in engineering and industrial economics—has been honored to receive the Prime Minister’s Emulation Flag. Along with the collective achievement, many IUH individuals were also recognized with prestigious awards.

On the morning of September 30, during the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (2025–2030 period), IUH solemnly received the Prime Minister’s Emulation Flag. This distinction acknowledges the tireless efforts of the university community and serves as a strong motivation for IUH to continue fostering its tradition of innovation and creativity in the years ahead.

The 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress was an important occasion to review the achievements of the 2020–2025 emulation movement and to honor outstanding collectives and individuals who have made remarkable contributions through their dedication, creativity, and productivity. At the event, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – Party Secretary and President of IUH – represented the university in proudly receiving the Prime Minister’s Emulation Flag.

Comrade Lê Thành Long, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, presented the Prime Minister’s Emulation Flag to exemplary units in the emulation movement. Representing IUH, Dr. Phan Hồng Hải – Party Secretary and President (second from the left) – proudly received the award.

Minister Nguyễn Hồng Diên also presented the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to Ms. Phạm Thị Quế Minh – Head of Finance and Accounting Office.

IUH’s Continued Achievements and Commitments

In the past academic year, IUH has continuously strived to enhance its reputation and the quality of its training programs. For the 2025–2026 academic year, the university welcomes over 12,000 new students; the employment rate of IUH graduates reaches 95%, with 79% working in positions related to their fields of study.

IUH has been recognized for meeting the AUN-QA institutional accreditation standard (version 3.0) and currently boasts 46 accredited training programs, including:

– 6 ABET-accredited programs

– 24 AUN-QA-accredited programs

– 17 MOET-accredited programs

– 8 programs recognized in their second accreditation cycle.

These accomplishments reaffirm IUH’s relentless efforts to improve educational quality, align with practical workforce needs, and strengthen its position in both the regional and international education landscape.
